Parenting Resources

Aren’t we blessed to have so many resources to help us in the often difficult job of parenting?  Here are my favorites.  I can recommend them with confidence, knowing they will provide you with sound information and helpful tools.

Parent Talk NW with Diane Moore

A Resource for Parents Raising Kids of Character
http://www.parenttalknw.com

Listen to Diane every week day, 1:00 to 2:00 pm on
KPDQ (800 AM).  Call in with your parenting questions.
Check out Diane’s web site for upcoming speaking engagements.
You are going to love Diane, I guarantee it!!!

Love and Logic Institute, Inc.

800-338-4065

I am sold on the Love & Logic way—empathy with natural, real-world consequences.  I facilitated “Parenting with Love and Logic” classes for a number of years and heard first-hand, amazing stories of well how it works.  You can find many Love and Logic materials in your local library.  Check out their web site.  They are a wonderful company and have so many helpful things to offer.  I especially like their Love and Logic Journal (Quarterly) with free audio CD and the Insider Club online articles. Jim Fay, Charles Fay, Ph.D., and Foster W. Cline, M.D. all have a real heart for parents—and kids too!

I made referrals to Lonnie for several of my Play Therapy clients and I am always amazed at how she gets them on-track with their education.  Don’t hesitate to call her.  She will be happy to talk with you and explain her program.
